3 ways to get off..

This week is so far my most highlighted week of the year. I am so keyed up for these three events. I can’t tell you how much you should beg, borrow or steal to get to these gigs, just not from us ok.
They involve some of the most creative people in this fair burb so get on and see them.

The very very top of my hit list is going to see the DIAMOND BACK RATTLERS my favourite band performing for the first time live at the Supper Club.. You know on the corner of Oxford St above Will and Toby’s. The Filth who have been hosting cracking nights at the beach Road for some time now have come to the city for all of us that hate the 380. It’s a really swell venue and if there’s a band that you’ve not heard of that is so very worth the look in it’s the DIAMOND BACK RATTLERS. They’re on at 8pm this Thursday don’t be late or you’ll miss the fandango.

The Most Talented EDWARD WOODLEY shows us his Supervillian vision when he unveils his exhibition EVERYTHING WENT BLACK at the Art Factory this Friday night. He’s bound to make the most of the opportune space with the use of video, mural and performance. This man’s mind works in wondrous ways and has seen a whole lotta art so you can bet dollars it’ll be like nothing you’ve seen before.

On Saturday night at the OAF and presented by the Heights is the DISBELIEVERS and NEVADA STRANGE. You should have seen the Disbelievers by now because they are that damn good, I revel in any chance I can. Nevada Strange I’ve only seen once but that one time they sounded like everything I like and gave me goosebumps…I have no gift for talking music so listen here then just attend to it..www.myspace.com/thenevadastrange

So go swap your gum for a bus ticket and hop to it..xx DD
