Taking February into the Fray

“Remember what the dormouse said,
Feed your Head,Feed your Head, Feed your Head”- Grace Slick

Its true, we love cash, and there is still plenty of great stuff be had on sale.

Like these that are all marked down...

The Sydney Aquarium is awesome at anytime, but even more so at night and when the Dugong’s are in town. Whether you call them a Sea cow or a Siren they are bizarre and beautiful.
I can imagine with a pint of rum in your stomach, several months at sea and an ocean mist a ladyfish vision just might appear, even if not quite as hot as Darryl Hannah.

That most allusive and asked about label NO TOMORROW is lying happily in our cabinet again. The new jewellery collection ‘Fore Dawn Return’ has amazing rings and standout necklaces, get in quick cause it doesn’t last and may never return.

*BATTERIES NOT INCLUDED
Curated by Joseph Allen and Malcolm Smith
Batteries Not Included at the Australian Centre for Photography
presents the work of 12 artists investigating the hybrid offspring of
photomedia; splicing photography with performance, reanimating found
images or mechanising the moving image.

Ross Manning, Spat + Loogie, Paul Winkler & Jonathan Zawada

All Our Lives takes the boring out of bow ties and looking snazzy.

DUKE FIVE is out now and as well as all its usual candid charm and character there is an amazing interview with John Waters, who among other wonderful acts cast Traci Lords in Cry Baby.

THURLEY has just walked through our doors for the first time. Its just the beginning and we’re so excited with our first frocks by this amazing designer.
Using classic techniques and rare materials to create delicate pieces. Thurley collections are all about incorporating unusual fabrics and meticulous tailoring to flatter the female form.

Triskaidekaphobia is the fear of the number 13, and so appropriately named is the night at the Oxford Art Factory this Friday the 13th.

DiamondBack Rattler are on at the witching hour 12.00pm

Hosted by Exquisite Corpse and featuring a Ten band line up, this night will let you hear why the Sydney music scene is so damn awesome at the moment. It’ll be one of those nights that will get you 'where the hell were you?' taunts if you don’t go…avoid that and go, its free and doors open at 8pm.

Come and grab your free copy of WON 4 whilst there’s some left…

And for all the lovers Happy Valentines..
"Love is the ultimate outlaw. It just won't adhere to any rules. The most any of us can do is to sign on as its accomplice. Instead of vowing to honor and obey, maybe we should swear to aid and abet. That would mean that security is out of the question. The words "make" and "stay" become inappropriate. My love for you has no strings attached. I love you for free." Tom Robbins
